Patients who book with me include South Asians:
Here are the 3 steps you’ll take in BLOOD SUGAR RESET:
This is a safe space to ask questions about your condition, we will go into detail of your experience with lifestyle changes and gain a deeper understanding of where you lack knowledge and ways which I can support you to continue your health journey.
In this stage we will work on how you can reframe your health trajectory. We will be working together on goal setting, understanding the ins and outs of the risk of developing type 2 diabetes, potential long-term health problems which can arise from high blood sugars, cultural impacts, boundary setting, eating habits, emotional impact, physical and mental wellbeing.
When you are ready, we will create a clear plan for continuing your health journey on your own. At this stage you should have the understanding, knowledge and confidence to continue your health journey. When old self-destructive patterns rise up again, you will now have tools and positive experiences which can help you back on track.
It’s time to break with old destructive patterns. These 6 months are just the beginning.

They don’t work for me either, therefore I will meet you exactly where you are! That means that we will work on goal setting and explore your motivation for making a lifestyle change. I will also help you understand your diagnosis, how metabolism works and provide various tools to support your health decisions even after our time together that do not involve being on a strict dieting protocol that you have tried and failed with before.
There are many diets on the market which follow a restricted carbohydrate intake, some more extreme than others. I will help you explore which direction you would like to take based on scientific evidence. I would always encourage you to listen to your body and consume the right amount of carbohydrates for your body's needs and we will assess how your body responds.
The programme encourages a slow transition and we will have a whole session which focuses on how bread can be substituted with other satisfying foods. Many clients find that once they have started eating less fast acting carbs they see improvement in their energy levels and actually prefer this new way of eating as it suits their body and makes them feel great. You do you - and I’ll be here to support you in making an informed decision!
That’s up to you (but I will help you make an informed decision). Fats are essential for proper functioning of our brain and body, they’re not ‘bad’ for you - so I will always help you decide which types are best to make part of your weekly meals.
No, I do not provide any guarantees that my coaching will work with you. Everyone has different challenges and we work through them at different time scales, so everyone’s outcomes will vary. What I do promise is that I will use my knowledge and experience through guidance and support to provide you with tools which will benefit your long-term health journey.
No! My coaching is designed to support your long-term health goals, not as a short-term diet plan to follow. This means that you will be supported to make changes in your eating habits through education on nutritional value of foods, food pairing and much more. I am a real foodie and love cooking easy meals so there’ll be plenty opportunity to get inspiration so that you never feel you need a weekly meal plan from someone else, but instead feel confident to create meals you love that support your health goals.
As things stand right now I will not be making any changes to your current medicines. Only individuals with gestational diabetes during previous pregnancy, and newly diagnosed prediabetes or type 2 diabetes will be eligible for my support. However, I will be asking for a full list of prescribed medicines and encourage you to let your healthcare provider know that you have taken the first steps to transform your health through lifestyle changes, alongside the medication you are on.
You can choose to split the payment in two instalments. Last payment should be made before the beginning of the second half of the sessions.
The diabetes debrief helped me understand my diagnosis and make a plan for the future.
